Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp

Arrive at the Rongai Gate, where your adventure begins! Trek through lush rainforests, spotting wildlife along the way until we reach Simba Camp for a delightful dinner and rest.

Day 2: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

Elevation: 2,650m (8,694ft) to 3,600m (11,811ft)

Distance: 12 km

Hiking Time: 5-6 hours

Habitat: Moorland

Today’s trek takes you through unique alpine vegetation. Marvel at stunning views as we ascend to Kikelewa Camp, situated near a wonderful mountain stream.

Day 3: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut

Elevation: 3,600m (11,811ft) to 4,300m (14,108ft)

Distance: 8 km

Hiking Time: 3-4 hours

Habitat: Moorland and Alpine

Today, we make our way to Mawenzi Tarn Camp. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mawenzi peak as you acclimatize to higher altitudes.

Day 4: Mawenzi Tarn Hut to Kibo Hut

Elevation: 4,300m (14,108ft) to 4,700m (15,420ft)

Distance: 9 km

Hiking Time: 5-6 hours

Habitat: High Alpine Desert

Today, we trek to Kibo Hut, where we will prepare for our summit attempt. Use this time to rest and acclimatize, ensuring you're ready for the challenge ahead!

Day 5: Summit Night – Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Elevation: 4,700m (15,420ft) to 5,895m (19,341ft) to 3,700m (12,139ft)

Distance: 22 km

Hiking Time: 7-8 hours up, 6-7 hours down

Habitat: Arctic

It's summit night! We depart in the early hours towards Uhuru Peak. Once at the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding land before descending to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest!

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Arusha/Moshi - End of Trek

Elevation: 3,700m (12,139ft) to 1,980m (6,496ft)

Distance: 20 km

Hiking Time: 5-7 hours

Habitat: Montane Forest

After breakfast, we will walk to Marangu Gate where you will receive your summit certificates and say goodbye to the majestic Kilimanjaro! Celebrate your achievement before returning to Arusha.
